“Who is the new Renfri?” This question has been looming over our heads ever since we learned that Millie Brady would no longer be playing the charismatic and dangerous princess from the short story “The Lesser Evil”. About a month ago we made an educated guess, and it seems we weren’t wrong!
As we knew from before, this is possibly the very last week of filming for season one of The Witcher. In this update we have new cast members, cast and crew wrapping, snippets from the set and more.
The first time we wrote about Jack Wolfe, we speculated that according to his filming location and the timing, he could have been filming scenes with either Henry Cavill or Freya Allan. It turns out that his character has scenes with both!
Today, we will put aside our filming locations for a moment and focus on the cast. We have some new cast and some old cast updates. Let’s get to it!
Though our past few articles focused on the Nilfgaardian siege camp, it wasn’t the only location used for May’s third week of filming. Netflix had already revealed the release period of season one of The Witcher as Q4 of 2019, but now we have a more specific premiere date: the NSFW blog Recapped reports that the much-anticipated season will drop on Netflix on December 20…and that’s not all!
