More photos! The Witcher films the Wild Hunt in Saunton Sands, Devon

Entering the final week of the production of The Witcher Season 2, yesterday we reported that the show was filming with a small unit at Saunton Beach, Devon. We later were able to confirm via our sources that the riders we saw in the pictures were indeed the riders of the Wild Hunt.

Now, we have come across more photos now via The Daily Mail and it’s our best look yet at The Witcher‘s Wild Hunt in Season 2:

Notice that in some photos they appear to be charging at someone or something. Who could that be? Well, there was a scene in Time of Contempt where we had a glimpse of the Wild Hunt chasing Ciri before being dispersed by Yennefer’s magic.

Ultimately after that Yennefer and Geralt are reunited just as we saw in the leaked pictures from last Fall. Perhaps these scenes are connected, perhaps not. At this point we cannot confirm either way, but there could be something to it.

We also have unconfirmed reports of Henry Cavill on location. We have reached out to the person and we will update if we receive a positive confirmation.

Production for The Witcher Season 2 is almost complete with post-production starting shortly and a release date later this year.

  1. Those who played The Witcher 2 and 3 know exactly what’s going to happen in the whole series, and we’re still in love with this ♥️
