By Filming in the Polish Ogrodzieniec Castle lasted only one day back in April, but photos from the shoot continue to emerge for our viewing pleasure. In one of these photos we can see Mahesh Jadu as Vilgefortz in full costume thanks to photos from Janusz Marzecki and Sergiusz Gieszczyk!
This is the first time we are seeing both Vilgefortz and Triss this close, and while previous set reports gave us a good look at Triss’ outfit, we haven’t seen much of what Vilgefortz looks like. Other photos are not as informative, but are worth examining for a better taste of the location. For the rest, see the original photos by Marczecki and Gieszczyk.
As we reported previously, the scenes at this castle were shot by Marc Jobst for Episode 8, the season finale and, possibly, Episode 7 as well. Among the cast members were present Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), MyAnna Buring (Tissaia), Anna Shaffer (Triss), Therica Wilson-Read (Sabrina), Mahesh Jadu (Vilgefortz), Rhianna McGreevy (Lytta Neyd), Judit Fekete (Vanielle of Brugge), Jack Bandeira (Young alderman), Jim Caesar (unknown) and others.
