We’ve learned that Clive Russell has joined The Sandman Season 2 in a yet-undisclosed role. To fantasy fans he will be known best as Ser Brynden “Blackfish” Tully in HBO’s Game of Thrones. On top of that, he has also been cast as Stribog in The Witcher Season 4. Could he be playing Odin in The Sandman? We’ll have to wait and see.

Second on the new Sandman cast list is Jacqueline Boatswain, who will play Prime Minister Zewde. Boatswain’s credits include The Diplomat, Carnival Row and more. Boatswain will appear in another Neil Gaiman series this year: Anansi Boys. There she’ll play Mrs. Noah.

Next up is Segun Fawole, who has been cast a Laurence ‘Laurie’ Webb in The Sandman Season 2. Fawole’s credits include Grime Kids, Undefeated and many other short films.

Finally, there is Michael Lyle, whose role in The Sandman Season 2 is currently unknown. Lyle’s credits include Doctors, Eastenders and more.
