Production for the second season of Netflix’s hit series The Sandman is still ongoing and we already had the chance to uncover many interesting updates. One of which were the titles of the first six episodes of the new season. One of them hinted at the inclusion of the Norse god Loki. Today we have learned who will play him in The Sandman.
Freddie Fox is Loki in Netflix’s The Sandman
We’ve learned that Freddie Fox has been cast as Loki in the second season of Netflix’s The Sandman. It has been known for many months that the character would appear in the new season, but now we can finally put a face to the name.
Freddie Fox can very soon be seen in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare as Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond alongside such stars as Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson. Then in June Fox will make his debut in HBO’s House of the Dragon Season 2 as Ser Gwayne Hightower. He was also in Slow Horses and The Genlemen.
Recently we uncovered six episodes titles for The Sandman Season 2. They included “The Ruler of Hell” and “Season of Mists”. We suspect we’ll see Fox’s Loki in them as well as Odin, Thor, Anubis and other deities.
