Filming for The Witcher prequel continues outdoors; plus new cast additions

It has been some time since the last update on The Witcher: Blood Origin, but only because filming had returned to the studio after two weeks in Iceland and things are fairly leak-proof over there, but not 100%.

Now filming has gone outside of the studio again, and near a familiar location: Freshnam Little Pond, where we saw several crucial scene of Season 2 being filmed including one with the reunited Geralt and Yennefer.

Here are a few day photos of the location that later would host night shoots.

This time among the actors involved in the shooting were at least Sophia Brown and Nathaniel Curtis, who play Eile and Brian respectively.

Apart from that, we have two new cast additions. One is Guy Rhys (Doctors, Emmerdale), who was brought to our attention by our reader Jonas Jakobsen. Rhys will play the character named Cavaro. The second addition is Aidan O’Callaghan (Wolfe, The Rook) who will play the character of Kareg.
