We’ve learned that veteran director Harry Bradbeer has entered the realm of Westeros as he’ll be directing episodes of The Hedge Knight.

Bradbeer is an accomplished British director who worked on such projects as Fleabag, Killing Eve, Enola Holmes and more. For Fleabag, Bradbeer received an Emmy in the category Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. For Killing Eve, Bradbeer won a Best Director award at BAFTA.

At this moment, we don’t know whether Bradbeer is the sole director of the series or if there are more. We’ll surely learn more in the future.

As reported earlier, the writing team of The Hedge Knight consists of showrunner Ira Parker (House of the Dragon), George R. R. Martin, Annie Julia Wyman (The Chair, Tokyo Vice), Aziza Barnes (Snowfall, Teenage Bounty Hunters), Hiram Martinez (The Last Ship, Snowfall).

The series is planned to be filmed from June 2024 and be released in late 2025.

House of the Dragon Season 2 will premiere on HBO in June 2024. We will keep following the show as the promotional campaign kicks into high gear in the coming months.
