One of the more curious aspects of each season of The Witcher is of course the songs that the bard will be singing. Season 3 is no exception and Jaskier will have a tune or two, with a surprise appearance from a composer from CDPR’s The Witcher games.
Percival Schuttenbach make a surprise appearance!
Polish band Percival Schuttenbach, known to Witcher fans by their numerous bangers throughout CD Projekt RED’s Witcher trilogy have collaborated on a Season 3 song with Joey Batey and composer Joseph Trapanese. The new song is called “The Ride of The Witcher“.
But this isn’t the only one. Jaskier will be singing tunes here and there throughout the season. One of his sad love songs he will be singing to none other than his new love interest, Prince Radovid of Redania.
By the very end of the season, we’ll also get a very satisfying scene of the bard singing to dryads in Brokilon. The Witcher is known for cutting beloved book scenes, so it’s pleasant to know that this one stayed.

Very early during production, we also heard of a song called “All Is Not That it Seems“. We can’t really say which one that is or whether its title was changed to something else.
Perhaps it’s one of Valdo Marx‘s songs? After all, Valdo Marx is the invited court bard at the Thanedd ball, something he gladly rubs in Jaskier’s face when they meet.
The Witcher Season 3 is available on Netflix with The Rats prequel in post-production and The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep anime by Studio Mir is far in production. Stay tuned to Redanian Intelligence and do pop into our Discord server to join in on The Witcher conversation.
