The second season of House of the Dragon is in full steam filming in Spain with many of the cast gathering there. One such actor is a surprising one as we’ve seen him before in the Game of Thrones universe.
Eddie Eyre joins House of the Dragon Season 2
The news comes thanks to Michelle Bonnard, who plays the King’s Landing Brothel Madam. Bonnard posted on her instagram a photo featuring herself with Jordon Stevens (Elinda Massey) and Eddie Eyre.
Eyre portrayed Ser Gerold Hightower in Season 6 of Game of Thrones during the Tower of Joy flashback than Bran Stark saw. There are doubts about him joining House of the Dragon because of that, but we can confirm that he’s indeed cast in Season 2, not just there with friends or for other business.
After all, it’s not the first time that a Game of Thrones actor was in House of the Dragon. Jefferson Hall, who played the small role of Ser Hugh of the Vale, now portrays the twins Jason and Tyland Lannister in House of the Dragon.
We don’t know who Eddie Eyre plays yet, but he has the build of a knight. We hope to find out for sure in the future. We do know he’s been in Caceres, Spain at least since May 16.
Meanwhile here’s our article about at least five more cast joining House of the Dragon Season 2.
