By The second season of Netflix’s hit fantasy series Shadow and Bone is currently in pos-production and is fast approaching towards a March 16, 2023 release. With just over two months left, we still have new things to discover, particularly when it comes to the casting.
Shadow and Bone Adds Per Haskell and Saskia
Firstly, we’ve learned that actor Tim Plester will appear as Per Haskell in the second season of Shadow and Bone. Haskell is the leader of the gang called The Dregs, which Kaz Brekker later takes over. In the show they are simply called The Crows.
Tim Plester has appeared in such productions as Game of Thrones, Ricky Gervais’ After Life and Bohemian Rhapsody.
It’s clear that the second season of Shadow and Bone will put some emphasis on exploring Kaz’s background since we’ll also see his late brother Jordie, played by Tommy Rodger.
Another name from Kaz’s past is Saskia, a young girl who Kaz knew from many years before and kept a memento of her. Saskia will be played by child actress April V. Woods in Season 2 of Shadow and Bone.
We have also learned that actor and playwright Tuyen Do will appear as a character named Ohval Neyar in multiple episodes of Shadow and Bone Season 2. Her recent credits include Enola Holmes, This is Going to Hurt and EastEnders.
