Production for Amazon’s The Rings of Power has been going on for some time and apart from some reports here and there, things have been relatively quiet. For instance, there was some filming involving a Mordor set and a lone horse rider.
Now, there is more outdoors filming in Surrey, UK and we’re starting to get more glimpses at The Rings of Power Season 2.
Elves out and about in the UK
Thanks to local photographer Michael Hoblyn, we have a photo from The Rings of Power Season 2 set involving elves, with bows and arrows and a tree. It’s hard to say where in Middle-Earth is this supposed to take place, but it’s a nice glimpse nonetheless.
We can’t say we recognize anyone in this shot even if we zoom in, but that’s likely because of the high possibility that the people we see are extras.
The elf with the bow and arrows looks a little like Morfydd Clark‘s Galadriel with her braid. There’s also one behind the tree that would maybe be Robert Aramayo‘s Elrond, but it’s too hard to make anything out with either of these cases. Take a closer look:
Additionally, over the past few days we’ve had locals seeing multiple sets in Surrey, including possible night shoots.
Rings of Power Season 2 is now in production at Bray Studios in the UK. No release date has been confirmed. If you like The Witcher too, we invite you to read or main category where we closely follow the production of Season 3 and the other spinoffs.
