The third season of Netflix’s The Witcher, of which Henry Cavill is still a part of, is deep into post-production and all the while there are still little things here and there to discover. One of those things is the remaining cast. Of course, we already know the majority of the significant roles, but some still remain. Today, we’ll look at an additional figure in Ciri’s storyline.

Australian actor Fabian McCallum will portray Kayleigh, a member of The Rats, a group of Nilfgaardian misfit teenagers. Kayleigh will be memorable to the book readers as he and Ciri meet in Andrzej Sapkowski’s Time of Contempt when both are in a tough spot, and later in the story he attempts something terrible.

We can’t say if the Netflix series will follow the books in this storyline or not, but at least we know Kayleigh is included just as Christelle Elwin‘s Mistle. As a reminder, The Rats will appear in episodes 7 and 8 of The Witcher Season 3.

Fabian McCallum is best known to fantasy fans as Thondir from Amazon’s The Rings of Power aka the guy who didn’t wish to freeze to death in the north in the first episode.

Season 3 of The Witcher is in post-production for a Summer 2023 release. The live-action prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin has been set a Christmas 2022 release. Stay tuned to Redanian Intelligence and do pop into our Discord server to join in on The Witcher conversation.
