The third season of Netflix’s The Witcher is already deep in post-production after having wrapped earlier in September 2022. And indeed, we are now hearing that the script work for The Witcher Season 4 and 5 has just begun this October.

As far as we know, it’s only very early days and the writing should take a good chunk of 2023. If the previous seasons are an indicator, filming shouldn’t begin until after Season 3 is released, which means sometime after Summer 2023.

Additionally, as far as we know, the writing team is pretty much exactly the same as in Season 3. They were Lauren Hissrich, Mike Ostrowski, Tania Lotia, Haily Hall, Rae Benjamin, Clare Higgins, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Matthew D’Ambrosio and Troy Dangerfield.
