As Season 2 of Netflix’s The Witcher is gearing up for filming this February, we are slowly learning who will be back and who will not. We previously reported that costume designer Tim Aslam was replaced by Lucinda Wright, but now we learned that there is another departure in the Henry Cavill series.

Vladimir Furdik who choreographed almost every fight for Season 1 has confirmed via his Instagram that he will not return for Season 2 of The Witcher.

As noted above, Furdik choreographed all fight scenes in the first season except one: the highly acclaimed Blaviken fight. It was choreographed by Wolfgang Stegemann who was brought into the project by Henry Cavill himself for the reshoots as the two have worked on Mission Impossible: Fallout.

Will Stegemann be back for Season 2? That remains to be seen. Mission Impossible 7 is planned to start filming in the second half of the year, so the possibility is there.

Season 2 of The Witcher arrives in 2021. Here’s everything we know about it so far.
