Vladimir Furdik, stunt coordinator, says scripts for The Witcher have been revised 9 times

Make sure to turn on the subtitles!

Fans of Game of Thrones will recognize Vladimir Furdik as the show’s evil Night King, but his role on The Witcher is quite different. As stunt coordinator, Furdik will be in charge of the stunt team in various episodes. In the interview above (found, edited and subtitled by Sidh- thanks Sidh!), Furdik discusses how often scripts get rewritten in Game of Thrones and why such a thing might happen. But he also lets slip an interesting, and slightly worrying, detail about The Witcher.

It appears our show has been rewritten 9 times already, which is quite a lot! We have reported several times about the show reshooting scenes and recasting roles, but this newest interview may shed some light as to how and why that happened in the first place. Whatever the case, we hope these changes will improve the show, and that they will not be felt in the final product, which will grace our screens this year (likely this coming December).

In other news, Redanian Intelligence operatives are working on a new report from the set and another casting update, which will likely be posted here in the coming days. Stay tuned…
