The new Witcher anime titled The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep has been in development for over two years and it won’t be too long until we hear Doug Cockle as Geralt of Rivia, who replaces Henry Cavill for this project. But when will it come out? We have some news on that.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep releases on February 11, 2025

In the initial announcement a year ago, Netflix stated that The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep would be released in Late 2024. Since then plans changed and the anime will be released on February 11, 2025 instead.
Recently, we were able to confirm the runtime of the anime and it’s a substantial 1h 29m feature length, slightly longer than Nightmare of the Wolf.
Here’s a special message from Doug Cockle himself presenting a new clip with Geralt and Jaskier from Sirens:
Sirens of the Deep is set between episodes 5 and 6 of The Witcher Season 1 and adapts Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Little Sacrifice. Doug Cockle is returning to voice Geralt of Rivia, as he did for CD Projekt Red’s games, while Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey reprise their roles as Yennefer and Jaskier from the Netflix-verse. Christina Wren will voice Essi Daven.
Here’s the official Netflix synopsis for The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep:
“Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople. He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into an all-out war.“
The Witcher Season 4 is has been out since October 30, 2025. Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book Crossroads of Ravens is available internationally since September 30, 2025. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 4 is now in full production.
