By Filming for the fourth season of Netflix’s The Witcher is in its last two months now, having started in April this year. Throughout that period we saw several of their outings to various locations and this time it’s once again one of their regulars in Surrey, with Freya Allan and the gang.
Ciri rides through Frensham Little Pond
Frensham Little Pond and the larger area of Bourne Woods has been a staple in The Witcher production since Season 2, having had many scenes filmed there. Even with Season 4, we already saw both Freya and the rest of the Rats filming scenes there. Now we have another one, where Ciri is riding on horseback along a road.
The second figure on horseback isn’t another actor, but a cameraperson riding along Freya to get closeup shots, so in this scene Ciri is riding alone. Here’s a little video of that:
At one point, we were told that Ciri puts on a cloak, but that doesn’t tell us a whole lot.
Additionally, Connor Crawford (Asse) posted on his Instagram that he’s there too, therefore the rest of the Rats are filming in a different spot or different hours.

The Witcher Season 4 is has been out since October 30, 2025. Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book Crossroads of Ravens is available internationally since September 30, 2025. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 4 is now in full production.
