Henry Cavill leaves Yorkshire to continue filming The Witcher in studio

As the UK prepares for a second lockdown starting on Thursday, The Witcher star Henry Cavill has left the crew and cast that is currently based in Yorkshire, and is heading south to continue filming in studio. On Instagram, he thanked the North for hosting The Witcher and expressed his hope to return to their ‘beautiful hills, dales and fells’ again once the lockdown is over.

With Cavill heading towards Arborfield, it’s very clear now that Geralt will not be a part of the big gathering that is being filmed at Fountains Abbey. Instead, it looks like a number of political heavyweights such as the Northern kings and mages will meet for a conference.

  1. The kings and mages gathering is possibly a peace treaty that takes place few months after the battle of Sodden. Geralt is most likely with Ciri at Kaer Morhen at the time or on their way to Ellander.

    1. Yes. It’s obvious they are filming out of order so maybe the gathering of the mages takes place earlier in the season. Geralt must be at Kaer Morhen with Ciri at the moment.

    1. Lauren Hissrich has tease us with the unicorn and in interviews she said the season has romance with Geralt and Yen at the forefront and the description of the season says that Geralt thinks Yen is dead so all that inply a reunion at some point.

  2. As much as I’m looking forward to seeing you Season 2, I want the cast and crew to be safe. I’m glad that HC is still able to keep filming, he’s happiest when he’s doing what he loves♥️🖤💋
