By In just over a week, Netflix will release their highly anticipated fantasy series, The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill. In three exciting new featurettes chock-full of new footage, Netflix dives into each of the show’s three main characters. For your convenience, we’ve linked our frame-by-frame analysis of the featurettes under the videos as well.
The first is Cavill’s character, the witcher Geralt of Rivia. This featurette also debuts another of the show’s key characters: the bard Jaskier (known as Dandelion in the English translations and the games).

The second featurette centers on Anya Chalotra‘s badass sorceress, Yennefer of Vengerberg. She is Geralt’s love interest, but the series will explore her as an independent character in her own storyline.

Last, but certainly not least, is Freya Allan‘s child of prophecy, Princess Ciri. Arguably the central character of Andrzej Sapkowski’s eight-book saga, Ciri is destined to save the world – or destroy it.
