Henry Cavill’s The Witcher releases on Netflix in just two weeks. Thanks to IndieWire you can now listen to two of the songs that will feature in the show’s original soundtrack composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli.

First up is a song calledGeralt Of Rivia”, which we can presume will function as Geralt’s main theme. It’s likely that Yennefer’s and Ciri’s characters will have a theme of their own.

Belousova said: “The audience needs to want to immediately embark on adventures with Geralt, and because every opening sequence is different, musically, everything needs to vibe with the overall soundscape of each episode. In the first episode, ‘Geralt of Rivia’ is big, powerful and triumphant, but in other episodes it might be much darker.”

Next, is the Continent’s best bard, Joey Batey who plays Jaskier also known as Dandelion with a tune called “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher”.

To quote Indie Wire: “While “Geralt of Rivia” is a complex and multi-faceted track, “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher” is a comparably streamlined arrangement. The piece is performed by series bard Jaskier (Joey Batey) in the show, and bits and pieces of the track are scattered throughout the episode it appears in before the full song is unveiled near the episode’s conclusion. The track begins rather simply, with some subdued lute playing and somber lyrics, but gradually builds up with additional instruments and more excitable vocals.”

Batey, who was sick during the recording impressively managed to pull through with the help of a cup of tea to soothe his voice.
