By “The worst monsters are the ones we create”. That’s the official logline of Netflix’s The Witcher which arrives on December 20. Netflix has revealed the first official poster for the series that features the main trio: Henry Cavill as Geralt, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri.
As you might have noticed, behind the main trio there is a map of The Continent. The full version was uploaded to the website of The Witcher event that is to be held in Los Angeles, USA on December 3. Unfortunately, this is the largest version available at the moment.
As well as the LA event and the official release date, The Witcher’s December timeline includes a world premiere in London on December 16.
PremiereScene.net are now reporting that in attendance will be leading stars Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan as well as Joey Batey, who plays the beloved bard Jaskier. Also joining them will be showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich and executive producer Tomek Baginski.
For the rest of us, we’ll be waiting until December 20 for the show to drop on Netflix.
