By The past week was quite eventful for HBO’s Harry Potter as cast and crew took once again to location filming, this time in Cornwall. We got our first good look at John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore as well as new cast members.
Dumbledore meets the Flamels
During their filming at Kynance Cove, cast and crew of Harry Potter were spotted filming a scene where Dumbledore meets Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel. Thanks to Parismatch, we have photos as well as the names of the actors who play the Flamels.
Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel are played by Lambert Wilson and Marthe Keller. Wilson famously played The Merovingian in The Matrix sequels, while Keller’s credits include Marathon Man, Bobby Deerfield, Dark Eyes and many more.
More Dumbledore
On another day in Cornwall, we got even more photos of John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore in full costume. He was seen reading what looked like a spells in Latin.

Harry Potter series will film until May 2026 and is eyeing a 2027 release. Season 2 will begin filming back-to-back after Season 1 after a short break. Stay tuned to Redanian Intelligence for more news.
