By Joey Batey’s Jaskier has been the most elusive creature when it comes to set photos. In all our years of covering Netflix’s The Witcher we haven’t managed to get one photo of the bard. Now we finally made history.
A rare bard is captured on camera
For the first time ever in The Witcher history, Joey Batey’s Jaskier was captured on a camera during filming at Bourne Woods, England. It was part of a larger scene with many more figures, but we’ll talk about it tomorrow.
As you can see, neither the haircut, nor the costume saw any changes, despite many expressing desire for Jaskier to have a makeover for the final seasons. One might say that he’s on the road, it wouldn’t make sense for him to have a makeover, and that’s true, but Geralt changed a whole actor between seasons besides the jacket, so that wouldn’t be too criminal.
In any case, this is only an appetizer as we’ll get into the rest of the filming in Bourne Woods shortly.
