The final season of Netflix’s The Witcher starring Liam Hemsworth is currently in its second month of production. While the streamer hasn’t publicly acknowledged the filming start or any new cast members joining, we are here to do that instead. Today we’ll cover some new names joining both Season 4 and Season 5 of The Witcher.
8 new castings for The Witcher’s final seasons

We’ll start with those joining The Witcher Season 5. They are Camilla Beeput (Dune: Prophecy), Laurie Duncan (Warfare) and Liv Andrusier (A Play in a Day). Their character names are not yet known to us, although we believe Beeput and Andruiser will have recurring roles in the final season.
Next up are those who joined The Witcher Season 4. Patrice Naiambana (House of the Dragon) has been cast as Lupus. There isn’t a character in Andrzej Sapkowski’s books called Lupus, but if he’s named this way deliberately, he could be a werewolf since the name means “wolf” in Latin. But we’re just speculating here.
Another named character joining Season 4 is Adam Trussell (Vikings: Bloodlust) as Vifindir. That is another name that doesn’t appear in the books. It sounds Nordic, so perhaps he could be a Skelligan?

Others joining Season 4 are Summar Mackenzie, Yolanda Quartey and Farah Ashraf. Their roles are currently unknown.
Hopefully Netflix PR will wake up from its slumber soon and add to these names with some official announcements and a release date.
The Witcher Season 4 is has been out since October 30, 2025. Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book Crossroads of Ravens is available internationally since September 30, 2025. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 4 is now in full production.
