By Production for the third season of HBO’s hit series House of the Dragon is starting soon and this week the script readthroughs are taking place at Leavesden Studios. Some actors shared inconspicuous photos of the room and their name card, but one actor was different.

Character list for House of the Dragon episode 304 leaks
In a now-deleted Instagram photo, Steven Toussaint (Corlys Velaryon) shared the character list for the fourth episode of House of the Dragon Season 3. Here’s what the list said:

One notable absence here is Jace Velaryon. It’s known that Season 3 will start with the Battle of the Gullet, and we warned about spoilers above, book readers know he won’t survive. That is expected to be the big shocker event that usually kicks off the new season.
Another absence is Aemond Targaryen, but he simply isn’t in this episode. On the other hand, Helaena Targaryen‘s presence indicates that she’s still alive in episode 4.
Some King’s Landing smallfolk are here. People like Hugh’s wife Kat and Ulf drinking buddies Cley and Mujja, played by Ellora Torchia, James Doherty and Samson Kayo respectively.
New characters are also here. Most notably the long-awaited Prince Daeron “The Missing”, Viserys’ and Alicent’s youngest son, who has been in Oldtown for the first two seasons. Also Ormund Hightower, played by James Norton. Other new names include Jon Roxton, Luthor Largent, Adrian Redfort, Torrhen Manderly, Glendon and Sharis Footley and someone named Tom.
More new cast members
Speaking of new names, we also have potential new cast members either in other photos at yesterday’s readthrough or discovered another way.
They are Dean Fagan (Smother, Vera), Charlie Gordon (Matilda: The Musical), Daisy Kakkar (Talamasca), Sam Swann (One Day), Lucas Aurelio (Bridgerton, The Witcher).
There’s already speculations that Gordon could be Daeron, but that’s nothing new. Perhaps this time it will come true? We’ll wait and see.
House of the Dragon Season 3 will premiere on HBO in 2026. We will keep following the show as the production kicks into high gear soon.
