By Ever since its initial Polish release in November 2024, Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book Crossroads of Ravens lacked an international release date. Everyone knew it would be 2025, but when exactly? Well, now we finally know.
Crossroads of Ravens comes to 19 countries in September 2025
US publisher Hachette Book Group has finally revealed the intenational release date for Andrzej Sapkowski’s Crossroads of Ravens and it’s September 30, 2025. The English version is once again translated by David French, who translated all other Sapkowski’s Witcher books.
The list of international releases this September consists of the following countries: Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, UK and US.
Countries outside of this list will have to wait a little longer for their official translations. Maybe later in the year, maybe 2026. That hasn’t been specified yet.
Crossroads of Ravens tells the story of Geralt’s first few months on the witcher’s path. Sapkowski is quoted saying: “In Rozdroże Kruków, I return to the roots of Geralt’s journey—not the fearless monster slayer we know, but a young Witcher just beginning to understand the burden of his destiny. Imagine Geralt, but younger, with fewer scars and a bit more haughtiness.
This is a story of growth, of idealism meeting harsh reality, and of choices that forge a legend. It’s about finding your place in a world that’s constantly challenging you to be more than you thought you could be. As this new story finds its way to readers across the globe this year, I can’t wait for them to walk alongside a younger Geralt—experiencing the trials that forged him and the journey that set him on the road to his destiny.“
The Witcher Season 4 is has been out since October 30, 2025. Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book Crossroads of Ravens is available internationally since September 30, 2025. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 4 is now in full production.
