Director Nina Lopez-Corrado has joined the directors lineup of the third season of House of the Dragon. Her recent credits include projects like The Night Agent, Supernatural, FBI: International, Perry Mason and the upcoming second season of another HBO hit, The Last of Us.

House of the Dragon Season 3 is currently planned to film from March to October 2025 for a 2026 release. Some of the filming locations will once again North Wales, after it was a big part of Season 2 with Harrenhal and other external scenes. There is still no concrete word on Spain.

Meanwhile, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms releases later this year and George R. R. Martin himself seems extremely happy with it, saying it’s a very good and faithful adaptation of his work. “It’s as faithful as adaptation as a reasonable man could hope for (and you all know how increedibly  reasonable I am on that particular subject)

House of the Dragon Season 3 will premiere on HBO in 2026. We will keep following the show as the production kicks into high gear in the coming months.
