By 2025 is here which means The Witcher Season 4 will be released this year after wrapping filming last year. This will be the debut season of Liam Hemsworth taking over from Henry Cavill and the season where Geralt will only be seen interacting with Hansa, his friends. It looks like we’ll know more about them in the upcoming season.
Young Cahir and Milva coming to The Witcher Season 4
We’ve learned that we’ll see at least two younger versions of Geralt’s companions: Cahir and Milva. Young actor Aaron Zicman (House of the Dragon, Wicked) will play Young Cahir while Leanne Ho will play Young Milva in flashback scenes featured in The Witcher Season 4.
We currently don’t know the contents of these flashbacks, but in the books there was one with young Milva where her father was teaching her archery, for example. The one with Cahir could potentially feature his father Ceallach, an official at Emhyr’s court or maybe his mother.
For now we know only of these two. We can’t say whether there will be flashbacks of other Hansa members in The Witcher Season 4. Can one imagine a young Jaskier?
The Witcher Season 4 is in post-production for a 2025 release. Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book Crossroads of Ravens is available in Poland and will be released internationally in September 2025. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 4 is now in full production.
