It’s been a while since any members of House Tyrell were on our screens. Most of them perished in wildfire in Game of Thrones Season 6 accompanied by Ramin Djawadi’s iconic piece and then Olenna Tyrell, the Queen of Thorns, had the last laugh in front of Jaime Lannister in Season 7, aired in 2017. That’ll be 8 years when A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms airs in 2025.
Steve Wall cast as Leo ‘Longthorn’ Tyrell

We’ve learned that actor Steve Wall has been cast as Leo Tyrell aka Leo Longthorn, one of the most well regarded Tyrells in the history of Westeros. He participated in the First Blackfyre Rebellion and was among the important participants of the Ashford tourney in The Hedge Knight.
For our readers specifically, Steve Wall will be known for his role as Boholt in the first season of The Witcher. He also appeared in Vikings, Raised by Wolves and Dune: Part II.
In other casting news, HBO annnounced several castings a few days ago, including confirmations of actors we previously posted as our suspicions.
We have Danny Webb as Arlan of Pennytree, Henry Ashton as Daeron Targaryen, Edward Ashley – Steffon Fossoway, Shaun Thomas – Raymun Fossoway, Youssef Kerkour as Steely Pate and Daniel Monks as Ser Manfred Dondarrion.
Tom Vaughan-Lawlor was also confirmed as Plummer, who we quickly identifiied from the brief teaser a week ago.
As always, we will follow the filming of A Knight of the Seven Kingdom as closely as we can, so expect more casting news and behind-the-scenes details in the coming months.
