The cast and crew of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms aka Dunk & Egg are hard at work filming the first season of the series in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Season 1 is set to adapt The Hedge Knight novella with many of the principal cast already revealed. That said, we have more cast to reveal on our own.
Ross Anderson as Ser Humfrey Hardyng

We’ve come to learn that Ross Anderson has been cast as Ser Humfrey Hardyng in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1. Hardyng was one of the many knights participating in the tourney at Ashford meadow.
Without getting too much into detail, Humfrey Hardyng spars with Aerion Targaryen (Finn Bennett), gets injured badly, but wins that fight. Later, he joins Dunk (Peter Claffey) in the Trial of the Seven that happens at the end of the novella.
Ross Anderson’s credits include The Last Kingdom and its subsequent finale feature film Seven Kings Must Die as well as such projects as The King’s Man, Lift, Granite Harbour and many more.
More new cast: two redheads and a knight
If you’ve been following our Twitter/X, then you’ve already seen these. They are Rowan Robinson, Abigal O’Regan and Steven Calvert.
Rowan Robinson plays an unknown character codenamed “Rowan”. She’s a redhead, not too tall with 153cm (5 feet), has freckles.. Many started speculating Robinson could be playing none other than Rohanne Webber, theorizing that perhaps the show could introduce her early, instead of Season 2 as they normally would. At the moment that seems unlikely, but we’ll see what happens.
Abigail O’Regan is another redhead whose role is unknown, so another Rohanne Webber candidate in the eyes of the fandom. Again, it’s most likely not Rohanne, but one never knows.
Finally, we have Steven Calvert who plays a Stormland knight. It’s likely he’s one of the knights to will be seen with Lyonel Baratheon (Daniel Ings).
As always, we will follow the filming of A Knight of the Seven Kingdom as closely as we can, so expect more casting news and behind-the-scenes details in the coming months.
