The second season of Netflix’s The Sandman continues filming what appears to be its Vol. 2 in Surrey. Today we have scenes with Mark Hamill’s Mervyn Pumpkinhead.

The Fates confront the Pumpkinhead

We’ve heard from onlookers that The Sandman Season 2 has filmed a scene with The Fates killing Mervyn Pumpkinhead. Updated information with photos from photographer UnboxPHD is that he got shot in the head with the pumpkin exploding. This is most likely an adaptation of The Kindly Ones.
Naturally, Mark Hamill himself wouldn’t be present as he only voices the character with Nicholas Anscombe playing Mervyn’s body instead. We heard that the crew was seen taking a smashed pumpkin head away with Anscombe wearing a green mask afterwards for VFX.

Additionally, we heard that the raven Matthew was also there. We’re awaiting on information on what actors were spotted there besides what we already know.
On top of that, we hear Ann Skelly’s Nuala is also on set as well as Razane Jammal’s Lyta Hall. Hall was seen having a conversation with the three Fates, and a solo scene of her own. Thanks to photographer UnboxPHD, we have their photos:

Here’s the first good look at Ann Skelly’s Nuala in The Sandman Season 2:

The scene between the fates and Lyta Hall seems clear: that’s the one where they recruit her to fight on their behalf against Dream.
