By The second season of Netflix’s The Sandman is currently filming at Frensham Little Pond, England with cast and crew hard at work to deliver the new batch of episodes perhaps next year. Today we have an update with several photos from the filming.
Stephen Fry’s Gilbert spotted on set
After several days following the location of Frensham Little Pond, we finally have a photo of Stephen Fry filming for The Sandman Season 2, reprising his role as Gilbert. The photo was taken on June 18, 2024.
No other cast member have been seen on this particular spot. It’s possible he was there alone, but perhaps others simply weren’t captured by the camera.

Fairies spotted on the set of The Sandman
The latest comes via our longtime reader Sara Talib from today’s filming at Frensham Little Pond where The Sandman has set up several sets. We already reported on the area with the blue flowers as well as the one with the cherry tree, but there’s more: fairies.
We can see one of them rather clearly and there are more, riding on horseback with a banner.
In another scene, we can see possibly another one, if that’s a fairy:
And there is one more, who could potentially be Nuala. She does resemble Nuala quite a bit with the hair and all.
