The Witcher casts Joker and Game of Thrones actor

The promotional campaign has started for season one of Netflix’s The Witcher, but casting news is still finding its way to us. We’ve now learned that English actor Leigh Gill will appear in the show alongside Henry Cavill. You may have seen him in this year’s Joker film, directed by Todd Phillips, and earlier, in season six of Game of Thrones.

We are unsure which role Leigh will have, but we assume he will be part of Yarpen Zigrin‘s crew and will appear in the adaptation of The Bounds of Reason in episode six of The Witcher. Or could he, perhaps, be cast as Dudu the doppler? We’ll learn for certain come December!

As always, we’ll keep an eye on more casting scoops and we’ll be covering all of the upcoming events at London and Lucca.
